History of the 1st British Gurkha Standard Bearer and the National Standard

In the history of Brigade of Gurkhas, Mr. John Dharma Rai was officially appointed as the very first British Gurkha Standard Bearer and was presented the national Standard on 30 June 2011 by the Commander David Childs CBE and Lord Trevor Sore KCB of Navy (Admiral). This ceremony was held on the National Service Day at National Memorial Arboretum, Staffordshire.
